Every year we try to see my side of the family. My mom, sister, one of my brothers, and all of our growing families pick a destination and meet up. This year it was Las Vegas, Nevada. When my mom asked if I’d help put together a photo shoot, I new the perfect location! I had wanted to check out the Seven Magic Mountains exhibit, and I knew it would be photogenic and fun. It didn’t disappoint. We arrived a few minutes after sunrise, and there were already a handful of people also exited to see and capture these colorful rocks in the middle of the desert. Our photographer Meg Ruth, suggested the early call time, to beat the heat, and the crowds. People are there all day long, and tend to get rowdy in the evening. It was a little windy, but there was so much space for the kids to run around in, we couldn’t have picked a better spot for all of us.
You know you’ve had an adventure when your shoe breaks! Ha ha!
